What a prompt really is

A prompt is an instruction, not a search query

A search engine looks for pages that match your keywords. An AI model reads your whole message and tries to continue it in a helpful way. That means the quality of your message directly shapes the quality of the answer.

Think of the model as a fast, well-read assistant who has just joined your team. It knows a lot in general, but it knows nothing about your situation until you explain it.
